Course Objectives The aim of this course is; To convey the basic concepts of ergonomics to the students. To inform about the importance of ergonomics in the field of occupational health
Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • Will be able to learn the basic concepts of ergonomics
  • Will be able to explain anthropometry and anthropometric measurements
  • Will be able to design office and workstations
  • Will be able to comprehend hand tools, posture and weight lifting and ergonomics of dial
  • Will be able to explain the role of physical factors in ergonomics
  • Will be able to explain the musculoskeletal diseases related to thermal comfort and work
Course Description Ergonomics and its basic concepts. Anthropometry and anthropometric measurements. Design of office and work stations. Role of physical factors in ergonomics.
